![]() If your still worried about how much just do the chart in your owners manuel on how much of the fluids you need in the truck and if you cant find it just call the dealer and get it there. I dont have diff covers or any of that nonsence just put it in and drive it. Dont get to technical with this stuff and if your towing heavy I would use the 140 and minor towing not so heavy and not everyday would be the 90 or 110 and yes the synthetics such as amsoil and royal purple are good. Never had a leak or heat probs and I have towed alot of machinery and heavy metal. I have always checked mine before i drained it because my pumpkins were filled from the factory and didnt leak so you can go off of it that way or the way I learned and has never caused any probs with heat or whatever was by reaching finger in there and when you feel for it fluid you should feel it just bending the tip of your pinky in there and touch it. ![]() Or check the fluid before you drain it and get an idea where it was and drain the dang thing then fill in up to that point. Well apparently there are "0" zilch, nada tires in the complete store inventory. I have them on my 04 Liberty (Its no SD but it weighs almost 5000lbs with just me and the old lady in it) 35x12.5R15 ( 93.2lbs each average between the 4 of them un-mounted) and They work great in the snow, in the rain, and even seem pretty decent in the mud with some wheel speed they clear very well. ![]() No problem I thought as I had perchased the replacement warranty through discount tire. On Sunday I went on a little jaunt through the desert and apparently introduced a sharp stick through the sidewall of my left rear tire. Well it seems as though General Tire seriously over advertised their tire or seriously under produced it. They balanced well (little weight) and rode as expected on the street (little noisy but not obnoxious.) in 12000 miles it had wore down 3/32 worth of tread (started out at 18/32, ended at 15/32). They were great for their intended purpose, hauling ass through the desert. 285/75/16įor all intensive purposes I liked them a lot. I've been running the general red letters for a little over a year on my 2002 4runner.
